Prodigy: Legend Gone Too Soon

Hip-hop has lost one of it’s greatest pioneers. Rapper and member of Mobb Deep, Prodigy died in a Las Vegas hospital due to complications from the disease sickle cell anemia, at the age of 42. He was one of the most respected rappers among big names like PDiddy, French Montana, and even Wendy Williams. Prodigy changed the sound of hip-hop with heavy bangers like Shook Ones and Cradle to the Grave. With his story telling skills and notorious hip-hop beefs against JayZ and 50 Cent, the imprint he has made can never go unforgotten. He is survived by his wife  Ikesha Dudley; his son, T’Shaka and his daughter, Fahtasia.
